Title: The Rise of Hallyu: Imitation, Adaptation or Reinvention?
Description: This taster session will explore the growth of Korean new wave popular culture throughout the 20th and 21st century. You will examine Korean television, film and music industries, and consider how Hallyu sits within the wider development of East Asian mass culture.
Suitability: Students in IB1 & IB2 who are interested in studying East Asian Studies at university.
