Webinar

About the Webinar

Dr Jack Panter from the University of East Anglia will explore the science of fluid dynamics. You will have the opportunity to discover how air flows round an aerofall in the wind tunnel lab, understand how computer simulations allow us to see inside the normally invisible flow, and analyse the forces at play that make a wind turbine turn.

Dr David M Birch from the University of Surrey will then present some of the most advanced analyses carried out in engineering and how they are built upon the same principles of mechanics.

Who is this webinar suitable for?

Any students who are interested in studying Physics, Engineering, or other related subjects at university.

Please do not register to attend if you have any lessons or other pre-planned activities which may overlap with this webinar, unless you have received authorised permission to do so.
