After reviewing the impact of virtual work experience, the research has indicated that online exposure is extremely beneficial. Ideally, now that we are able, virtual work experience can be part of the wider portfolio of experiences (along with physical, in-person placements). We encourage all students to obtain such opportunities if they can (for those interested in all subject areas).
We are excited to advertise an online opportunity, for those interested in healthcare professions. The cost is £10 per day (to cover administration) and the first day of work experience will start on Sunday 2nd October. You can complete single days, or the full five months. Note that you cannot miss lessons or other pre-arranged St. Clare's contact hours. However, with the first day taking place on a Sunday, it seems that many of you may well be available. The following four days are also on Sundays. Certificates will be provided for attendance/participation.
The NHS Allied Healthcare Work Experience successfully invited 12,000 students to participate in the last academic year, making it the largest programme for students who are specifically interested in the following careers:
