We are excited to launch the NCH Essay Competition 2023! Such external essay competitions are a great way to build skills and knowledge, as well as obtaining a relevant experience which could later be used for your university application (e.g. personal statement!).
This Essay Competition is open to students who are currently in their penultimate (second to last) year of secondary education (IB1) and who are interested in studying Humanities or Social Sciences at university. This is a global competition and there are prizes for the best essays.
Deadline: Monday 16th January 2023 (1pm GMT)

If you are not an IB1 student, or interested in a different subject other than what is listed above, we still encourage academic competitions! There are many available, some of which we'll be advertising throughout the year. You can also proactively source your own competitions now or speak to a member of the Careers Service.
