About the Talk
Dr Sophie Newman, Teaching Fellow at the University of Edinburgh is hosting an interactive talk about The Human Skeleton. You will gain a broad introduction to the range of skeletal morphologies across vertebrate species and explore how we can use knowledge of the human skeleton in archaeology and human science. You will also study lifestyle factors on a macroscopic and biomolecular level.
Suitability: Students in IB1 & IB2 who are interested in studying Biology, Archaeology, Forensic Science or other related disciplines at university.
Please do not register to attend if you have any lessons or other pre-planned activities which may overlap with this talk.
