Subject focused, with a foundation in Liberal Arts. Students apply directly into their program of interest. They focus on their subject/major-specific courses beginning in their first semester, while also exploring other areas through Liberal Arts. Many students pursue more than one subject.

IB Grade Requirements

We do not have minimum IB score requirements. Average IB points for admitted students is 37/45, around 6 average in each course.

UFP Requirements

Yes. We would expect students to have either completed secondary school in their home country or to be on track to receive a secondary school diploma from St. Clare’s. The admission requirements would be the same as all first year applicants.

We offer merit-based scholarships to all students (domestic and international).
Domestic students (US citizens or Permanent Residents) are also eligible for need-based financial aid.

Located in the heart of Boston, students experience the city as an extension of the campus for study, internships, employment, and cultural and recreational activities.

We also offer summer, semester, or year-long study abroad programs in ~20 different countries and students in every major have an opportunity to study abroad.

89% of students graduate with at least one internship experience, either in Boston, during a study abroad program, or back home.
