Northeastern meets full demonstrated need for U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Northeastern does not offer need-based financial aid to international students. International students will be automatically considered for merit scholarships based on their academic performance in high school. These scholarships are typically awarded to students in the top 20% of our admitted student applicant pool. These awards are competitive and not every student should expect to receive a scholarship. Merit awards range in value from $10,000 to $25,000 per academic year.
Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, fuses academics with a real-world co-curriculum. The co-op program alternates classroom study with six-month periods of full-time paid employment. International students receive authorization that allows them to work on co-op anywhere in the US.
Our main campus is in Boston, but students have a range of international opportunities. Visit our Global Experience page to learn more about these opportunities.
