Average Undergraduate Class Size

Class size will range massively depending on the subject, from individual one to one meetings, to small groups (up to 10), to very large lectures (up to 500). Many subject areas may have around 100 – 200 students in a year group which would be divided into smaller groups for tutorials, labs and project work. Our annual intake of undergraduates is around 4,500.

Cost of Tuition

Students from England = 4 years for the price of 3 at £9,250 annually with final year free for most degrees. Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine are the same price as those degrees in England.

International Fees:
• Arts / Social Sciences / Law = £18,370
• Science / Life Sciences = £21,920
• Engineering = £21,920
• Nursing / Vet Biosciences = £21,920
• Vet Medicine = £30,500
• Dentistry = £45,170
• Medicine = 47,900

Glasgow’s campus is fairly compact and located in the beautiful West End of Glasgow city. The West End is a vibrant area with parks, botanic gardens, museums, galleries, music venues, shops, pubs, clubs and restaurants, all of which grew up around the University. It is 1.5 miles from the city centre which is a short walk through Kelvingrove Park. The University is also well connected to the city centre via our small underground system, train lines, bus routes, cycle and walking routes.
