• Our first year classes consist of small seminar courses capped at 20 - 35 students to larger lecture styles varying from 80 to 1200 students which also have smaller tutorials (12 – 20 students) or labs
• In our Faculty of Arts and Science, 62% of the classes have less than 40 students

Many programs require higher scores and our most competitive programs, including Commerce and Computer Science, require a significantly higher score (mid/high 30s or higher)

The University of Toronto is a publicly-funded institution and because of that cannot offer financial aid to international students. There are a few merit scholarships available though.

Canadian Citizens & permanent residences of Canada could be eligible for financial aid including government funding.

Our Education Model

At U of T we offer a variety of program concentration levels (Specialist, Major, Minor, Certificate) which allow you to mix and match programs in different areas such as Engineering with a Minor in Music, or a Double Major in Philosophy and Mathematics, or a Major in Chemistry and 2 minors in French and Economics. Alternatively you may choose to complete a Specialist program (high concentration in one subject) together with a number of elective courses.
