Wake Forest University is in Winston-Salem, NC, a city of about 250,000 people and is an hour north of Charlotte. Approximately 5,500 undergraduates from 49 states and 56 countries study a rigorous liberal arts curriculum at Wake Forest. Our average class size is 25, and students have to live on campus for at least 3 years. Over 75% of students study abroad during their time at WFU. Lastly, WFU has been test-optional for over 10 years, and was the first nationally ranked top-30 institution to adopt such a policy.
