About The Tutorial

The Society for Natural Sciences is hosting a tutorial about finding life on other planets. The tutorial will be led by Dr Sarah Gretton who will introduce you to the Drake Equation which is used to estimate the number of communicative extra-terrestrials in our galaxy. You will learn how to evaluate astronomical, biological, and psychological/sociological factors in order to estimate the probability of the number of active technically advanced civilizations in the Milky Way Galaxy.
