About the Lecture
The University of East Anglia are hosting an online Education/Sociology/Maths lecture titled 'Brazilian Candy Street Sellers, Mozambican Basket Weavers & Japanese Origami Artists - How Decolonising The Curriculum Can Be A Means Towards Widening Participation in Mathematics. The session will be led by Professor Elena Nardi who will draw on her own experience to propose that the maths we learn at school influences our choice of profession.
Who is this talk suitable for?
Students in IB1 or IB2 who are interested in studying Education, Sociology, Maths, or other related disciplines at university.
