About the Work Experience & Career Day
During the morning, you will take part in an application session where you will learn how t apply to midwifery courses and how to successfully land yourself into the profession. You will be taken through what courses are available in the UK, discussing the pros and cons of each one at different universities. You will then learn about how to write your personal statement before learning about the interview process, and discussing what type of work experience you can do to meet the requirements.
During the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to develop your practical skills through reviewing scan reports and learning about common and uncommon fetal anomalies.
Who should attend this work experience and career day?
Any students who are aged 13-18 years old and are considering midwifery as a career path.
