About NSPCC Young People's Board for Change

The Young People's Board for Change is part of the biggest UK's child protection charity and they are recruiting a team of 15 young people to voice the views of young people and help shape the work that the NSPCC does.


What will be required from you?

You will raise awareness of important matters relating to young people which will inform change within the charity to address these issues. You will have the opportunity to meet other young people, travel across the country to attend residential trips, meetings and workshops, develop essential life skills, and develop your confidence through campaigning and public speaking, all at the same time as making a different to child protection in the UK.


Eligibility

  • Between 13-16 years old (Pre-IB).

  • Commitment of membership to the board for 2 years.

  • Desire to change the lives of other children in times of need.

  • Commitment to attend all sessions and events as required.

  • Willingness to voice your ideas and opinions.

  • Willingness to listen and respect others views.


When do I need to apply?

Applications close on Monday 23rd January 2023.
