About the Lecture
Dr Vik Loveday and Dr Brett St Louis from Goldsmiths University of London, and Dr Tom Porter from the University of East Anglia, are hosting a Sociology insights lecture about 'Poverty, Shame and Stigma: From Representations to Lived Experience'. Throughout the lecture, you will explore the contrasting representations of those with lived experience of poverty, how stigma functions, and the personal effects of being shamed.
Who is this lecture for?
Students in IB1 and IB2 with an interest in UK Poverty or those interested in studying Sociology at university.
