About the institution

Based in Vienna, Austria, CEU offers European and U.S.-accredited degrees in the social sciences and humanities and is listed among the top 100 universities worldwide in a variety of subjects.

CEU brings together students and professors from over 100 countries, with no dominant nationalities within its 1,400-strong student body. The university nurtures a student-oriented academic culture, drawing on the wealth of knowledge and perspectives that its multicultural community provides. A 7:1 student/faculty ratio ensures a dynamic environment for collaboration and debate. Professors work closely with students to help them explore their individual academic paths.

These undergraduate courses are tailored for students who seek an international experience in small classroom settings and appreciate having the choice to tailor their studies to meet their own interests.

CEU offers three multidisciplinary undergraduate courses:
• BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE)
• BA in Culture, Politics, and Society (CPS)
• BA/BSc in Data Science and Society (DSS)

CEU is part of The Open Society University Network (OSUN). OSUN is a new global network that integrates learning and the advancement of knowledge across geographic and demographic boundaries, promotes civic engagement on behalf of open societies, and expands the access of underserved communities to higher education.

CEU is also part of CIVICA, an alliance of eight leading European higher education institutions in the social sciences.
