About the institution
A leader in art and design education since its founding in 1896, our campuses in New York City and Paris offer more than 135 degree programs, ranked as the number 1 school for design in the US and the number 3 worldwide (QS). Founded in 1921, Parsons Paris classes are kept small and the curricula are based on that of Parsons School of Design in New York City but adapted to the culture and context of Paris. Instruction is in English. The campus is fully part of The New School and receives the same accreditation. Parsons School of Design and Parsons Paris are part of The New School in New York City, which also includes Eugene Lang liberal arts college and the College of Performing Arts.
