University of Brighton

About the institution

The University of Brighton is located on the south coast of England with links to London Gatwick airport in 30 minutes and the centre of London in an hour. The University of Brighton has a diverse community of 20,000 students with over 150 countries represented and Brighton itself is a QS Top 10 UK Student City (2021).
We have over 500 courses to choose from at the university with the top 5 for international students being Business , Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Media, and Art and Design.
The University of Brighton has invested £30 Million in its last stages of the ‘The Big Build’ project for its students as part of its transformation including a new Students’ Union, student accommodation and updating our campus buildings.
We are a supportive university and Brighton scored in the QS top 20 globally on ‘student mix’ (2019) showing how welcoming and well-equipped Brighton is for international students. We have dedicated teams to enhance our international students’ experience. Each year we offer a range of scholarships to support our students even though our fees remain very competitive.

Students gain expert insight from the same inspiring academics behind our research success with 92% rated as world-leading or internationally excellent in terms of research impact (REF 2014).
In addition, we focus on the experience and future employability of our students with ‘hands-on’ learning being underpinned by work-related opportunities: placements, volunteering, live project briefs putting the university in the top 50 in the UK for our graduate outcomes(CUG 2022).
