About the institution

The University of Dundee is one of Scotland’s leading universities, offering world-class degrees in a wide variety of subjects. The University has over 16,000 students and 3,000 staff, representing around 150 different countries across the world, making Dundee a truly global institution.

The University offers undergraduate, taught postgraduate and research courses in a wide range of subjects, with a focus on teaching traditional and professional degrees using innovative approaches. We have an excellent reputation and have been named University of the Year for Student Experience (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020). We are also one of the UK’s top 30 universities (Guardian University Guide 2020).

Our students rate us highly and we are 1st in the UK for course satisfaction in dentistry, environmental sciences, children’s nursing, education, physical geographical sciences and molecular biology, biophysics and biochemistry (National Student Survey 2019).
