UWE Bristol

CHOOSE a mindset – We believe that it’s only when you ask ‘WHAT IF?’ that you discover ‘WHY NOT?’. It’s our way to make a real difference to the way we learn, analyse and contribute to the world we live in.

About the institution

Situated in a multi-cultured city, UWE Bristol is a global community with almost 40,000 students from more than 140 countries studying across three campuses.

The main campus Frenchay is located in a peaceful part of Bristol. The majority of our courses are taught there including: Architecture, Biosciences, Business, Education, Law plus more. Many state-of-the-art buildings and facilities have been built and updated over the years, for instance, our new Engineering Building which became fully functional in February 2021.

For students who are interested in Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Allied courses, Glenside Campus is the place to study. There is special equipment available for students to practise their skills, such as Virtual Environment Radiotherapy Training facilities, Optometry and Clinical Skills Centre.

Bristol is the heart of creative industries. All our creative art courses are conducted at our City Campus in the city centre, surrounded by major companies like Aardman and BBC.

Recently ranked top 120 world young university ranking (Times Higher Education), and having been voted the best place to live in the UK twice by Sunday Times, UWE Bristol is a fantastic place to study and live.
