About the Talk
Dr Lilah Grace Canevaro, leading academic from the University of Edinburgh is hosting an interactive talk titled You Can't Keep The Woman In The Wallpaper - The Agency Of The Woman & The House In & Beyond The Gothic Novel. You will explore the connection between the woman and the house, and trace the connection back to early literary texts in the western canon. The session will touch on themes such as science and society, the supernatural, women and society, and Gothic.
Suitability: Students in IB1 & IB2 who are interested in studying English Literature or other related disciplines at university.
