Following a brief introduction of NYU and the application process, I will cover the importance of the personal statement within contextual admissions, the idea of "fit" and what universities looks for, how to answer the "Why NYU?" supplemental essay, and how to choose the right CommonApp prompt. I will also share tips and advice to help you write a smashing statement! Have a pen and paper ready as we'll do a short live activity towards the end of the session.
