Psychology Work Experience and Careers Day
Saturday, April 16th 2022
Online 11am - 4pm
The morning session of your psychology careers day focuses on what you need to do to secure a place at university and the different careers it can open up for you. Led by an industry expert, we start off by examining where a psychology degree can take you. Psychology straddles the middle of both scientific and arts careers so it’s a really good, well rounded choice when it comes to a degree. You may find yourself post university entering a career in clinical psychology but you could just as easily end up deciding your understanding of the mind and human behaviour would be better suited in something like journalism or law.
We’ll discuss the various career options with you, mapping out routes into each one before we move onto how to secure a place at university to study psychology. After lunch your afternoon session is dedicated to gaining some psychology work experience. You’ll spend time gaining practical skills and tips to get ahead in the field of Psychology followed by a live Q&A session.
The aim of the day is to leave you with all of the information you need to apply to Psychology at university as well as some great Psychology work experience to aid you in these applications.
We have bursaries available for UK and International students to enable them to attend our courses without charge or at a reduced cost. There are 150 free places available each year & a further 100 at a reduced cost for those students requiring financial help.
