About the Talk

Dr Joy Hawkins from the University of East Anglia is hosting an interactive talk on Women and Healthcare - Medieval Origins and Practices. In celebration of International Women's Day, you will have the opportunity to explore the role of women as healthcare providers and consumers in the late medieval period, examining whether pre-modern beliefs about women and medicine can help us understand the inequalities today.


Who is this talk suitable for?

Students who are interested in Medicine, History, Interdisciplinary Studies, or other related disciplines at university.
