About the Taster Session
Dr Mike Rodman Jones from the University of Nottingham is hosting an English Literature taster session involving close-reading a new poem. This session with introduce you to the art of confronting an unseen poem and the disciplinary history of close-reading as a skills and practice. Using a case-study, you will practice this technique to understand the importance of text, context, language, form, and meaning.
Who is this taster session suitable for?
Students who are interested in studying English Literature or other related subjects at university.
