About the Taster Day
Join Newcastle University for an interactive day exploring the ghost fishing phenomenon and the ecosystem impacts. There will be opportunities to participate in hands-on activities looking at plankton and microplastics, create your own company or product which supports the ocean, and see the aquarium in full action.
Who is this taster day suitable for?
Students in IB1 who are interested in studying Marine Biology or other related disciplines at university.
Please do not register to attend if you have any lessons or other pre-planned activities which may overlap with this taster day, unless you have received authorised permission to do so.
