About the Taster Lecture
Join University of Sheffield for a taster lecture titled 'Deserts - Ephemeral Lakes & Desert Dust'. The lecture will be led by Dr Rob Bryant who will use 2 case studies from Owens Lake and The Salton Sea in the USA. Throughout, you will explore sustainable water use in deserts, dust stroms, ephemeral lakes, and air quality and impacts on human health.
Who is this lecture for?
This lecture is appropriate for students in IB1 & IB2 who are interested in studying Geography or other related disciplines at university, however the lecture is open to those of all ages.
