About the Tutorial
University of East Anglia are hosting a university tutorial titled 'How does the discipline of Geography help us understand the contemporary migration 'crisis' in Europe?'. The tutorial will be led by Dr Kavita Ramakrishnan who will introduce you to migration from a geographical perspective and explore why current conversations on migration are so fraught. You will also have the opportunity to look at colonial legacies which have influenced Europe's borders. You can watch an introduction to the tutorial below.
Who is this tutorial for?
This tutorial is suitable for students in IB1 & IB2 who are interested in studying International Development, Geography or other related disciplines at university, however anyone is welcome to attend.
Please do not register to attend if you have any lessons, exams or other pre-planned activities that may overlap with this tutorial.
