About the Taster Lecture
Lecturer Lisa Bradley from the University of Sheffield is hosting a taster workshop which will teach you the key to answering the right questions and write an engaging story. You will also participate in a mock press conference where you will be encouraged to ask questions, make notes and then plan a great story. You will also have the opportunity to hear from current undergraduate students, as well as learn about life as a journalism student at the University of Sheffield.
Who is this lecture for?
Students in IB1 or IB2 with an interest in studying Journalism at university. This session is mostly suitable for those studying Media, English Language/Literature, Politics and Sociology, however is open to all students.
Please do not register to attend if you have any lessons or other pre-planned activities that may overlap with this lecture.
