About the Talk
The University of East Anglia are hosting a Maths & Economics talk titled 'Applying Maths to Understand & Tackle the UK Economic Crisis'. The talk will be led by Dr Bahar Ghezelayagh who will discuss how inflation is calculated, why it is an important economic measure, and what the UK Monetary Policy Committee is doing to tackle this crisis.
Who should attend this talk?
This talk is suitable for students in IB1 and IB2 who have an interest in studying Maths, Economics, or other related disciplines at university, however anyone is welcome to attend.
