About the Session
Dr Theodora Gliga from The University of East Anglia is presenting an interactive psychology/biology talk on Consolidating Memories While Asleep. You will consider the questions of why we sleep and the importance of sleep for short term memories to develop into long term memories. You will also be introduced to the purpose of Sleep lab for exploring the role of the hippocampus, the thalamus, and the cortex in memory consolidation.
Who is this session suitable for?
Student sin IB1 & IB2 who are interested in studying Psychology, Biology, and other related disciplines at university.
